@odd Yeah, beer was illegal here between 1915 and 1989. Prohibition for everything else was lifted in 1935. The theory was that beer promoted too much casual drinking 😄
Moonshine/landi has persisted more due to extremely high alcohol prices than prohibition, although that is when it started. 🙂
