Fandom and critics are united in at least one hypocrisy.
They both demand powerful female characters but also specifically condemn female power fantasies.
Which makes no sense, if you think about it.
I wish, I wish, I wish for a better iOS
I wish iOS on iPad wasn’t as locked down as it is.
I wish the iOS appstore were more conducive to business models that foster pro apps.
I wish it had a command-line, even one that’s partially segregated like the WSL.
I wish it supported external mice/trackpads because text selection sucks (and will always suck) with touch, even with the fake on-screen trackpad.
I wish its support for saving web apps to the home screen wasn’t unusably buggy. (Refresh! Refresh! Refresh!)
I wish it supported pointer events for the pencil.
But more than anything else, I wish for gatekeeper for the iPads pro. With a machine that powerful, you should be able to enable side-loading of signed apps.
