Since I keep seeing the “Safari’s support for web standards sucks” thing going around online:
Safari has been making huge improvements over the past couple of years in its standards support. It’s been ahead of Firefox when it comes to web components support, for example.
They’re still a bit iffy on a few things like web app manifests (still in development though) but today’s Safari is a completely different beast in terms of standards support than it was two years ago. The progress they’ve made is nothing short of amazing.
Just browse through the WebKit Feature Status dashboard if you don’t believe me.
