How to deal with that one problem browser

If you’re a web developer and you constantly have trouble with a single desktop browser (Safari, Firefox, Edge, whatever) that always misbehaves when you test in it, you can often (tho not always) fix that very simply by turning that browser into one of your primary dev browsers.

That way compatibility issues are never allowed to build beyond minor niggles during development and don’t become major issues during cross-browser testing.

I use Firefox as my reference browser during development because working only with webkit (or forked-from-webkit) browsers can lead you into a few bad habits.
